To temporarily store the surplus of self generated solar energy and prevent this energy from being fed back into the grid, you can use home batteries. The stored energy can be used at a later time on the same day so that the battery is empty again before the PV system recharges it. The following day, this cycle will repeat itself. Home solar accu systems offer a solution when feeding energy back to the grid is not desirable.
